CHECK IT OUT!

These two pictures are original pictures of myself dancing and one of my neighbors winning her 1st place award overall for her solo this weekend! Check it out! Dance Pictures!

Dance Xplosion

There are all different kinds of dancing, and how girls learn to dance.  Every dance studio has different dance styles and the ways the girls learn to dance is all depended on the dance teacher.  This past weekend I attended my neighbors first dance competition at Dance Xplosion.  For her first time competiting she did a beautiful and outstanding job! I couldn't be prouder of her! Her best friend, also my neighbor, won 1st place overall on her solo!  Which means she is the title winner for the petite soloists.

What I noticed this weekend at the dance competitions is the different styles of dance.  My neighbors dance studio is different from mine.  There types of dance for there younger girls is more old school.  Which is great because the girls dance was very clean and perfect.  But do you feel that sometimes the old school dancing doesn't look as challenging as some of the other dances?  I was asked by my neighbors mother and I didn't know how to respond at first.  Now that I think about it, I remembered what I was doing at her daughters age at a dance competition.  I was shaking my booty and everyone used to come up to us after we danced to tell us how adorable we were! The level of difficulty stands out in a competition I feel.

Abby Crying on the Season Finale

The season finale

The season finale of "Dance Moms" left you hanging.  Abby starts to cry because her "star" didn't win, and she failed to complete her solo on stage.  All of her other students forgot their solos every once before and they have never seen tears come from Abby's eyes.  She didn't even go to awards.  That is very disrespectful, as being a studio owner and being a dance teacher.  They left us thinking she's leaving?  Saying I need a vacation away from this? Not professional what so ever.
